    Good morning all,

In yesterday's Thursday, 24 October Wall Street Journal - can't link; it's paywall - there's a page 1 article titled "Acorn Eaters Give Squirrels Nutty Problem".

Some researchers n South Korea, already a society with acorn noodles, jelly and powder, call acorns a "superfood".

    Some excerpts:

"...some Native Americans once made acorns a staple of their diet,..."

"restaurants and health-conscious blogs are starting to explore recipes for acorn crackers, acorn bread and acorn coffee".

"...three years ago after South Korean researchers proved acorns can scientifically prevent diabetes,..".

    ......

I have no idea on the value of this article but perhaps there are Forum Members with an interest.
