Good afternoon new entrants to the Prepper arena,

Link is a basic display of types of storage bins. Depending on one's living arrangement, a Prepper could need a bin for extra boots "at the ready" when speed counts. Some clothes require storage with moth balls (camphor) if moths around.

Of the plastic / poly containers, some are fully sealed containers when lid properly placed on. Others have the bug entrance requiring GE silicone sealant or eg Liquid Nails clear sealant.

Do the research first before spending $.

Consider a container for a vehicle evac. An under-the-bed container can hold a couple of loaves of cinnamon-raisin bread, and etc.
