    Lo Everybody o7 (salute)

    38 y/o no-attachments Vegas local here, been in the prepping mindset for a while but had fell off for a couple years after the move here to the desert. Just met a friend of a friend (also my boss) who does training outings a few times a month, which got me arse kicked back into gear.

    So here's I am, shuffling budget/cashflow around to add in prepping expenses and wanted to see what other like-minded folk are talking about these days.

    A couple weeks they're doing fishing and cooking, just missed a navigation session last week.

    Can you explain your "salutation". Does "07" stand for something ?

    Recommend not to treat prepping as an expense. It's really about basic living and thriving in times of plenty and times of problems.

    I, too, join IBME and ask about those "training outings".

    Welcome to here Miskondukt! I hope you can share with us some of what you will be doing on those training outings. It sounds interesting. Looking forward to your posts!


    As you shuffle your $$ around, remember knowledge costs nothing and it's one of the best foundations for survival. You may eventually run out of the proverbial "beans, bullets, and bandaids" but you will never run out of knowledge...especially if it is committed to muscle memory through practical use/practice. But you probably knew that already. :)

    Just my $1.02 (the dollar was added in because of inflation and all...)

    The guy was a mountain rescue dude, so he does a lot of mountain/wilderness training.
