    Cats can be like that. We took care of a cat that lived on the patio and that damn thing would go after the raccoons. I had to get her away from the racoon so that it wouldn't claw her. Well, we have another cat we are taking care of and it lost its eye probably due to the dummy going after a racoon. We named her plain Jill and sometimes I call her one eyed Jill. LOL

    On the flip side, I've seen a rat chase off several cats. Animals are very pragmatic and if things don't go the way they want they back off and don't get hurt. I've seen my tiny Yorkie chase a german shepherd out of her yard. That shepherd could have eaten her in two bites but chose to run instead. That is just the way animals are.
