Especially when the forest has ponds or creeks, surely mosquitoes are present. When walking in trails that are laden with mosquitoes, use banana leaves to drive them away. At least save your arms from mosquito bites. During the second world war, many soldiers died not in fighting but of malaria. Until now, there are forests and jungles that have malaria-bearing mosquitoes. And adding power to the mosquitoes is the prevalence of dengue. So that’s malaria and dengue. Being afflicted with the said diseases can cost you your life.
