Goodbye Peter Fonda. EASY RIDER Get your motor running Head out on the highway Looking for adventure In whatever comes our way Chorus You're not gonna make it happen All the world is a loving place Fire all of your guns at once then Explode into space I like streaking lightning A heavy metal thunder Wrestling with the wind And the feeling that I'm under Like a true nature's child We were born, born to be wild We were flyin' so high, I never wanna die
So that's why they called it a "tear drop" gas tank ! His loss is really a tearful event. Was the sister present ?
The movie was decent. I hate all of the fondas with ta passion. Had Henry fonda been drowned at birth, the world would be a better place simply because his progeny never lived.
And exactly how is this hate........and different from other hate, is their a sliding scale for hate....??? Is other peoples hate silly-unfounded-stupid....yet our hate is rational-prudent-wise......???
LOL. Sorry, but I can't help but laugh. They are scum. They are traitors. They deserve nothing but death. While I would not murder them, I shed no tears at their passing and feel the nation is better off without them.
Mostly this just makes me feel old! Easy Rider was my generational area. I well remember having problems with people because of my long hair. The good part was that I wasn't so much a hippie peacenik as I was a longhaired redneck that liked to fight. Hippies were about "make love not war" and I was more like "Screw and kill them all and let God sort them out!" Good times...I still am amazed that any of us survived our childishness.
You guys... My mom never liked Jane after her stupid traitorous behavior. Of course Peter I guess she thought was a loser and Henry a nutcase. But to just wish death on them is a bit strong.
When Jane buys it, she'll get to go be with her fellow travelers, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, Lenin, Fidel Castro, Che Guevara, ..., all those great collectivists who brought peace, unity, and equality to their people.
She aided and abetted those who enslaved entire peoples. She aided and abetted those people who murdered tens of millions. George Armstrong Custer got his just deserts. Benedict Arnold escaped the noose. What a shame. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massacre_at_Huế After the war, the communists did their best to wipe out the entirety of the Hmong people.
Oh, truly sorry. They didn't teach me that in school about the Fondas, etc. I was a bit young to know any of that and not that interested later in learning about her. I vaguely remember my dad being pretty pissed about her.
Good morning all, H.J. Fonda of Hanoi was even worse than mentioned above. Besides her in the basket seat of the antiaircraft gun ... which she said was her biggest mistake in life ... and her broadcasts against US forces in Vietnam ... which she did NOT address ... .... ... Circa 1979, Joan Baez bought a full page national ad, and carried in the 3 other major US newspapers, to condemn the new Vietnamese government regarding torture of their internal enemies. The famous example was placing people in "Conex" boxes - steel shipping containers later evolving into the 20 ft and 40 ft ocean-going containers - with the prisoners dehydrating in the prison-conex. Baez is a pacifist ... good, bad or indifferent, she was a pacifist. Baez asked H anoi Jane Fonda for endorsement of her national ad against the SR of Vietnam government. Fonda refused. I remember.
