Climate Change Chart Shows End Of World.

There is a lot more to this chart, it starts way back at really cold globally (to the left of this chart in the blue area) & very slowly has warmed up, BUT the time it has taken to do this is very long indeed, compared to the sudden rise in temperatures globally that we are seeing now. Basically we don't have very long left to do something about this before the point of stabilization. Too late to reverse what we are getting now, but if action were taken now we could stabilize. If we do nothing NOW, then our families down the track will NOT survive!!! This then is our biggest threat to human survival, & probably the survival of many other animal species.

Pretty chart, does not prove a darn thing. I can draw a chart, showing how folks would be better off sending their money to me. Does not prove they will be but I certainly will have more to spend.

 

climate change may not be just human induced but human actions are increasing the effect, industrialisation probably has a lot to answer for.

 

It's not there as documented proof TMT, we already know that global warming is real. The chart is supplied to show just how the climate has been changing over millions of years without human intervention. It also shows when humans started to have an effect on climate change, & where that change is at present in relation to where it was millions of years ago. If you don't want to believe this, well you are not alone. The majority of people like you are dooming the rest of us to an uncomfortable life & eventually death.
Have you ever asked yourself "well why not do something? How will it hurt if I do all I can to stop global warming even if it is a hoax"?

Keith I am all for personal involvement but absolutely against the government trying to mandate how and what I should do. What good will it do to kill our economy if the rest of the world continues to contaminate the climate. We go broke and still die from global warming. No winners, a lose-lose situation. I can't think of any International agreement that has not been violated. Paris climate agreement was a joke and would have cost Americans a fortune and solved nothing. If you need an example just look no further than California and their mandate. That is going to bankrupt the state (even faster than they are doing now) and cause a huge exodus from the state. Businesses will leave in droves and the population will leave even faster than it is now. Again a lose-lose deal. If you can show me an affordable and viable solution, please do. Until the rest of the world demonstrates they are making changes, I see no reason to cut my financial throat.

 

That is the trouble, everyone is thinking like you are. So long as money & lifestyle are a priority over life, then humans are doomed to extinction. Is being homeless worse than death, worse than knowing that your great grandchildren will not survive? If people did not demand it, others would not be producing it. Well it is all about to hit the fan, living conditions are going to get worse despite people not wanting to lose what they have. That decision will be taken out of our hands. Denial is not going to stop this, sitting on their collective backsides is not going to make it go away. If this problem were to have been addressed back in the 18th century, or even in the 40s or 60s, people could have adjusted to a changed lifestyle, in fact had we moved over to alternate energy back in the 60s, we would not had to adjust to a different lifestyle.

But this didn't happen, & there is no point in crying over spilt milk. We have the chance to do it now, & this is the LAST chance we are going to get. This is not a conspiracy to rob people, this is not a joke, this is not some crazed sandwich boarder crying in the streets, this is the real thing & the majority of people are not taking this seriously. This will be the end of the world, you won't see it & neither will I. My boys will experience the discomfort, my grandchildren will have a hell of a time & my great grandchildren will not survive. We, my family have done & are doing all we can that can be done without completely leaving society. We live off grid in a forest, we are off all services, we use our vehicles as little as possible. If the government were to stop taxing us for our land, for the PP Board, for using compost toilets, then we would not have to use our vehicles at all. We would be totally self-reliant. It is not the homeless lighting fires in 44 gallon drums on winter nights that are responsible for the rise in global warming, it is everybody else & if they don't want solar panels on their roof because it spoils the look of their house, then they are going to be the cause of the end of the world.

Well I don't know about anyone else here, but that stuff goes right over my head, so even if it was included on the chart, it would not make any sense to me. What does make sense is the sudden increase in global warming since the industrial revolution, that I can understand & for me that is quite enough.

keith you pointed out the defining factor, everybody has to be on board. That is an impossibility with all the diverse governments and peoples. So again, until ALL countries are doing their part, it does no good to be noble and self sacrifice your own livelihood. I am happy you are doing your part, but did it make any difference in the process? What you are experiencing is multiplied many times over when the rest of the world is not willing to do their part. Even if you are 100% correct it is man made or even aggravated by man, it will not stop until ALL nations get on board.

 

we often get roads closed by fallen trees out here in the British countryside, some winter storms not only take down trees but the falling tree takes out the electric supply so people have a power cut too, at the moment crews are dispatched to deal with the fallen tree and the downed power line, this wont happen post SHTF.
in the south west we often get landslides too.
