It's actually focused to emergency responder communications but it's definitely a Prepper matter also.

We have commo ranging from small signal flashlights to a megaphone.

As per article, I mastered an aspect of 2 way radio commo. In under 6 months I learned how to operate the - Push To Talk - button.

Besides being a FEMA Director, Creig Fugate is famous for his "Waffle House Index". In an emergency if the Waffle House is open for business, all is basically OK. If only limited service at Waffle House, much work to do, If Waffle House is closed: MAJOR PROBLEMS.

Other than a family prepper group with radios, augment the commo equipment with disinfectant - without ruining the radio.
