    Good morning all,

Article about using Defense Department's budget appropriation to speed up domestic health care delivery in the various circumstances from disaster relief to routine remote access. The program already started and a site is Christians burg, Virginia, the area of Virginia Tech Univ, in vicinity of Virginia Appalachia and Shenandoah Valley. It's a drone company working with Walgreens.

The article's second picture after drone para delivery shows new surgical cap for combat operations.

Article mentions paper parachutes. Once the requests for procurements get into the contractors' in-boxes the parachutes will be required to be platinum-threaded gold leaf. Article is molding public opinion.

I like the "ambulance drone" concept for civilian first responders and picture of civilian first rrsponder w/o PPE.

Love the expression "deconflicting the airspace". The older terms such as "victory", "winning", "air-dominance" left us with General Stilwell, Field Marshall Slim, USMC Gen C. Puller,... The Care Bears now govern the FEBA - Forward Edge of the Battle Area.

Humor: "war zone,... The threat environment could likely prove too dangerous to fold in civilian contractors". Sebastian, do interview Eugene Hasenfuss, Allen Pope, Francis Gary Powers....His son is an official of Cold War Museum, Vint Hill Farms, Virginia.

A real bad idea for having unmanned ambulance. There are so many things could go wrong during hot extract, even in peaceful situation there is a real need for having human crew onboard.

    Allen Pope heh.....

    A related article......

UPS drone to deliver a CVS prescription medicine to home.

Mentioned in this article is the FedEx delivery to a Christiansburg, Virginia home.

    ......

    Veruna;

With no available personnel, any medevac ("dust-off") can be an improvement to situation.

Then the underlying problem lies in the lack of personnel or retaining trained personnel. IMO such issue could be mitigated by increasing more incentive for the flight crew, otherwise they will quickly jumping ship to private sector for better pay and more relax working condition (very common for fighter jock around here)

Flying require a lot of intuition and so far there isn't any unmanned system that can outwit the intuition of a well-trained & experienced human pilot particularly during any unforeseen situation.

    Good morning Varuna,

That's part of what's going on.

There is a lack of trained aero-medical personnel and retraining personnel has many political implications. Labor costs change. Health care in the US is run by cartels. Team Trump is changing this and the howls and scare stories can be heard as far away as Indonesia.

We've got much work to do - but we're slowly accomplishing it.
