If you have seen the makeshift stove consisting of 3 big stones with the fire in the center, this will be easier to understand. Look for 1 big stone with a wide top so it can hold the pot on the edge and there is still space for frying. Of course, you have to clean the stone thoroughly before using it. Let’s say you are cooking rice in the makeshift stove, the heat from the fire will radiate to the stone such that the extra space of one stone can be usee for frying. Pour some oil and you can fry meat or fish or anything. And if you don’t have the proper utensil then you can use 2 long sticks like chopsticks to handle the food that you are frying.
