Guys think about what the democrat presidential hopefuls are saying they want to do to the U.S. . Personally I think we are relatively safe that we will have Donald Trump standing between their vision and a prepper / survivalist vision for another four and half years . The democrat vision would spell freedom gone , bank accounts gone , retirements gone . There are already democrat presidential hopefuls touting their government dream is to copy China's credit system and punish people that don't conform to the governments agenda . The working people simply could not come up with enough money to pay for their socialist / communist dream . Bank accounts would simply be taken over by the government . Property that had a financial lean on it would be scooped up by the government . Think about your debts that you may have . We have a few years to get rid of those debts " hopefully ". Total food and water independent capability will be needed unless you plan to yield to the government and their agenda 21 goal . Hopefully this communist take over of the democrat party in the U.S. will spell the death of the democrat party , but that is simply something that can not be counted on . Any suggestions on preparing for a possible communist take over .

Good afternoon Poltiregist, Re suggestions; It's not original from me. TaxDanm said it several weeks ago. Start attending your area's political meetings. "Political" must be used in the broad sense. EVERYTHING in government is politicized. Just show up a little early and plan to stay a little late. Comment on the casual conversation you'll encounter in a nice manner. We lost control of so much just by default. Sometimes "Show the flag" does wonders.
I agree and do intend to fight communism politically . But I also prepare to live in isolation , before I would submit to the communist . Agenda 21 will not be able to coax me into the stack em and pack em plan . Like that fake reality show theme " live free or die " .
We also need to be at School board meetings and especially investigate who we are hiring for the school systems such as superintendent and such. To be honest school board meetings are terrible. They will not heed to anything that the public wants or states at their meetings. They are notorious for throwing people out who disagree and locking citizens and parents out while they place votes.
I think that the Democrats are going to cut their own throats. I know a lot of old school Democrats. we call them yellow dog Democrats because they would vote for a yellow dog before a Republican. BUT they ARE Americans and they are not going to vote for a Socialist. NO WAY!!! That doesn't mean that they will vote for Trump but sometimes not voting is just as good as voting against someone. I don't think that there are enough kids, minorities and stupid new age democrats to elect some of these crazy anti-Americans that the Democrats seem to prefer these days. PS: the election of AOC by the people of NYC tells me that those people need to not be allowed to vote. that witch is NUTS!!!
When I was a child I believed in the tooth Fairy and the Democratic party. As to got older I learned the tooth Fairy did not exist but unfortunately the Democratic party did exist. Now that I am much wiser, I have learned there really are monsters and they are fed and nurtured by the democratic party. If we are lucky, enough people will refuse to continue to vote for and continue to fed these monsters. America and Socialism cannot exist in the same country.

Exactly right , it has evolved a lot in just the last five years . One problem with voters " they get stuck in voting for a particular party " and find it hard to adjust to the new party and think for themselves . No matter what party it was , if they turned communist I would not vote for such crude .

Good afternoon Last Outlaw, Missed above this AM.......No excuses; just been busy and stressed out from the media "Do not worry about pandemics here". Yes, indeed, the school boards. It's no longer arguments over text book selection. Frequently enough, the schools are the county's biggest budget item. Once attended a conference - nothing related to schools or prep - and sat at same table with an auditor. He told me he once audited an elementary school in a suburban area near a medium sized city. This small school had an external budget - not involving the school payroll, the building maintenance etc - of about $1 million dollars. It involved the school year book, the sports teams and their programs and the other extracurricular stuff not watched. The auditor was brought in to check on these irregularities. Just the school's parking lot was the flares ! Another organization; Attend the animal welfare programs. Much going on. Similar to above school extracurricular stuff. Plus, all the rest.
Some on here may not understand my ranting about communism . I blame this on many don't really understand communism . I will share a TRUE story told to me by a fellow soldier . He was making a sweep through a Vietnamese village . He entered a hut and saw laying on the dirt floor what at first he thought was a pile of rags . But then noticed a slight movement . Upon further investigation he discovered it was a female girl child . A communist group had come through the village prior to the Americans , killing most of the defenseless villagers . They had raped the little girl and throwed her away like a piece of garbage . That soldier adopted that little girl and sent her to the United States to his wife until he could rejoin them . --- That is what communism is and to see my fellow countrymen considering going down the communist path pi--es me off greatly . A communist government would look at preppers as a resistant movement and deal with them likely as they did that little girls village .---- Another example sometimes in Nam when I was not more or less on a body guard assignment , The Colonel would put me watching over Vietnamese civilians that wanted to make some money and come inside our compound . Their normal pay was 25 cents a day . I would go to the perimeter of our razor wire and bring in a few civilians . One guy that always stood out and I gave him as much work as I could . He stood out for a couple of reasons . One he was tall for a Vietnamese and I was fairy certain part of his blood line was from a French soldier that had been there before me fighting communism . Two he basically had no clothes . No shoes , pants , hat or shirt only a modest piece of cloth tied around his waist . Even by Vietnamese standards he was very poor . I couldn't prove it but I always expected the Communist took every thing from him , The 25 cents he earned and anything else he had including his clothes . ---- That is what life could be like under communism for a prepper .
