New Member Hello from Washington State

Surviving and prepping are my goals ! New to prepping but have military background with a love of the outdoors, have some Medic skills.

Morning, you two! Bellingham, here, although we are considering a relocation to somewhere in MT...

 

I am in Yakima. Montana is a nice place to move too. It just gets really cold in eastern Montana in the winter.

 

I have heard that about Eastern MT. We are looking at the Great Falls area.

 

Ok I have been hunting in eastern Montana a few times and you can believe me it was very cold both times. But if your prepared for the cold it would be okay.

 

I personally enjoy the cold. The wife, not so much. And the girls are all different. But I have been eyeing the GF area, as it puts us near the mountains (something we all love), and it just seems like there is some great potential out that way. Would love to hear thoughts on other places in MT that may be similar, however.

 

Do you work for a refining company? Just asking, there is a refinery there, it does give off an oder. Are you looking at moving to the country ?

 

No, I don't work for a refinery. Have worked for the past decade in the Reentry field. We would love to move to the country (is how I was raised), but it will depend on what we can afford. We are hoping to find something affordable in the foothills/mountains, if possible. Then again, we are flexible. Just so tired of the city.

 

I am small town raised, and we live 6 miles outside of town on just over 7 acres. We love it.
