Not directly related to conservation, ... Here there are some hunting clubs. The clubs are formal with a membership fee. One of the area clubs I know about has a program where, for example, a bambi is successfully targeted, the hunter spends ~ $130 to have butcher prepare everything for donation to a children's charity.

I can guess that $130 number might have since changed - and not downward.

Some of these hunter clubs are sophisticated and ensure their donations DO NOT go to basic food banks where the - elective - drunks and druggies don't have to work for their food.
