I Have Decided To Get Rid Of Some Of My "evil Black Weapons"

I have decided to get rid of some of my "Evil Black Weapons" After all with winter coming.

 

Below is a photo of one laying in the snow, I got a good deal on flat white paint. It is in the center. Yes.....it is a little hard to see.

That's some really good camouflage! I can't see a thing, no rifle, no snow, no picture either, lol.

You can't even see me, I am just to the right of the rifle. I am feeding boiled pork to an Ermine. Can't you see the tip of the Ermine's tail is black......??? Just the tip. Yes, I guess it is a little hard to see.

 

On a more serious note, I really am scrubbing and painting firearms white today. I still need to run and check a cache that has several times attracted smallish bears this summer.

They really do look non-lethal when painted flat white.

Me, I'm gonna try to get the mold and mildew off the side of my house in prep for winter. We've put back a goodly amount of food we grew ourselves. I see zucchini bread and tomato sauce coming out of my ears this winter.

Though I do not like winter, I feel an other-worldliness standing in the woods, the ground covered in snow, one side of tree-trunks white with snow-laden branches above. That silver silence, that divine devotion of just being there. The smallest breeze whispers through the limbs. When you cease to exist as yourself, it is then that you can actually hear and breathe. Snowflakes melting on your face become the fingertips of God.

 

Wow, that's gotta be some of the best camouflage I've ever seen!
