Maine County Has An Emergency Prep Fair

    Lincoln County, Maine has an emergency preparedness fair.

    Area is on water NE of Portland.

    The book "The Civil Defense Book: Emergency Preparedness for a Rural or Suburban County" had the author present. He discussed material from his book. Author Michael Mabee used the word "apocalypse". True enough for some when all Hades occurs.

    Note the picture of author Mabee demonstrating a baler bucket".

    Note the County EMA (Emergency Management ___?[ Some places use title Emergency Management Coordinator; am not familiar with "EMA"]) recommending a family contingency plan for a 30 day absence of power.

    The article also has a picture of fair participant Maine Militia.

    This Maine county is definitely getting prepared and ready.
