My First Homestead

    Back when I was a teenager, knocking on the door of my 20s I bought a chunk of property. Back then 11 thousand dollars bought 38 acres of backwoods Kentucky. I had saved up about a third and got it land contract.
    I eventually roamed north and ended up somewhere else. Sold the property to my brother and the rest is history. Do miss it though




    Anyhoo here is a photo of the cabin I built as a teenager.

    That's pretty impressive for a teenager. What year was that? I can't imagine that being my generation or the last two. Kids now a days are lazy and most probably couldn't even balance a check book.

    it was used to catch rain water, it was a new tank never used for oil
