    Good afternoon all,

    This is a news article and not one for our mental health preparedness section.

    Article about development of a separate batch of non LEO responders for meantal health crisis.

    Note the new number "988" that augments the "911" number.

    Of course this new program will require funding.

    Still, when up and running, it reduces 911 calls and 911 responses are not free of costs.

    I view this as good news.
