    Article tells of unknown sources suggesting a strike on Independence Day.

    If it happens it could be a win-win situation: the hated police won't ruin the holiday and the LEOs can stay at homes changing bandages on their wounds.

    For non-residents of NYC;

    Follow advice of NYC journalist Horace Greeley: "Go west, young man, go west". In other words, GOOD - Get Out Of Dodge.

    I remember when Joan Baez (Joney Phoeney) refused to pay her telephone tax to protest the Vietnam War. She apparently was successful in teaching "passive resistance".

    Hopefully there's the NY National Guard "just in case".

      Now won't that look good during the next city election, Had to call out the National Guard, even when there was no declared emergency. I wonder if the National Guard can bill the city for showing up? If people think the police are expensive, wait till the tax payers find out what it cost to mobilize the National Guard. Self inflicted wounds. LOL

    What would you expect from NYC? LOL. Most politicians don't have an IQ higher than their shoe size.
