The article is not upbeat by any means.

It is realistic for a frame of mind to continue with the required hard work.

 

The article certainly lays it all out of what we face. Truth is often very unpleasant such as what was clearly laid out in the article.

I met a colleague yesterday where my private road intersects with the state road. We talked - 6 week away. He also read article. He has a "theory" ... one of those FWIW ... views that Trump accepted a 1 term only tenure.

He mentioned a specific and a general point.

The purge of wrongfully submitted votes is nominal. Both sides agree to purge them. Like Pat Buchanan said, it's not a change to the results. What colleague said was the real "issue" was the "Dominion Voting System" vote-processing machines. House Speaker Pelosi's former Chief of Staff became a lobbyist for this company. Senator Feinstein's husband Richard Blum is a large shareholder of company. These machines were used on over half the states and all the "battleground" states.

So this first point allows saying the voting tally is a non-issue. It's decided.

His second point: Just looking at the big national issues pending cannot be solved. America's housing market alone is the world's largest asset class - even larger than the US stock market. The US Government guarantees up to 80% of relatively new mortgages (am guessing he meant after the 2008 panic by foreign holders who ditched them). Thus, they are defacto nationalized. It'n not a guess but a reality that the Biden politburo will liquidate them. Younger people here at Forum probably don't remember the Ralph Cramdon - Art Carney ("The Honeymooners") rental apartment living.

Later I'm thinking of posting something at our Members Only section for a possible next generation "breakout" if I may use a military term.
