    Good morning all,

This is somewhat of an addendum to something I posted last week.

If your medical kit already contains potassium iodide, please put some quality time in reading up on these pills AND ALSO discussing this with experienced, professional health care folks (admitting it's difficult to meet with unless paying a First Lady's ransom).

At the link's "Adults" ... "older than 40", read until understood.

A major aspect to this pharma's use is the patient's age and the usually exclusive knowledge of the emergency management authorities' knowledge on the severity of the area's environment.

    Again: acquire the knowledge now.

Which is better Potassium Iodate or Potassium Iodide?

The iodate is superior to the KI potassium iodide, however it can royally upset your stomach. KIO3 = stomach upset. KI is absorbed much more quickly than KIO3.

    Pick your poison.

Fluorides can kill the effect of taking either form of iodine. Fluoride in your water supply? If so, hmmmm..... It would take some rather high levels of fluoride in the water; never-the-less, one wonders. Fluoridated water supplies do not help people's teeth so much. If you go to the dentist and they treat your teeth with fluoride, what they use has a far higher amount of fluorine. Dental toothpastes available only by prescription have HIGH levels of fluoride. If your water filtration system takes out fluoride, your teeth are likely NOT at risk -- so brushing and flossing is much, much more effective in protecting teeth and gums.

"KI (potassium iodide) does not keep radioactive iodine from entering the body and cannot reverse the health effects caused by radioactive iodine once the thyroid is damaged.
"KI (potassium iodide) only protects the thyroid, not other parts of the body, from radioactive iodine."

Watch your stomach if using this iodate!

When biden got into office (note that I did not use the word "elected"), I engaged in several actions. Among them was getting iodide tablets from a survivalist source. Gotta whole bunch for the family. Doesn't matter for me. I'm just so much dead meat as it is already.

"Google Searches For Iodine Pills Skyrocket"

    https://www.zerohedge.com/geopoliti...hima-level-putins-nuclear-threat-sparks-chaos

"Russia's invasion of Ukraine and President Putin ordering nuclear deterrent forces to be placed on 'special' alert has scared the bejesus out of many in the western world who are now panic searching where to buy potassium iodide in case of nuclear war.

"Potassium iodide can help block radioactive iodine from being absorbed by the thyroid gland, therefore protecting the gland from radiation injury during a nuclear incident.

"After Putin called for his nuclear forces to be combat-ready last week, U.S. Google search trends of 'iodide pills' surged to the highest level since 2011, when the Fukushima nuclear disaster unfolded.

"Like the U.S. and NATO, Russia has thousands of nuclear warheads and maintains a nuclear deterrent attack force. As Russian incursions show no signs of slowing down, Putin announced Saturday that he would declare war on any country that imposes a no-fly zone on Ukraine.

"There are already indications people are panic hoarding in Central Europe. Brussels Times reported 30,000 residents flocked to pharmacies for free potassium iodide pills post-invasion. Pharmacies in Bulgaria are already out of stock."
