    Good afternoon all,

Article discusses "if many smaller faults can link up to create these major quakes".

Am guessing faults at right angles are like Trellis drainage patterns.

As much as this article about California's having the first statewide earthquake early warning system and "ShakeAlert" to cell phones, our older and growing larger senior citizen population derives little from "tens of seconds" extra alert time. when factoring in the cost for the working generation. Some of us do consider the burden on the labor force. It's still worthwhile to try to assemble all these programs into something available for the end user.
