Am thinking this is best section to post something re newcomers learning this stuff: children.

Article about some organizations fielding a small program to introduce children to the outdoors - more explicitly being the wilderness.

Note instructor teaching the kids to locate the sun's location; the direction of the wind.

Note: "Walmart of the woods" - the evergreen tree. Can any Forum Member elaborate on pine needles' vitamin C and how to get a dose if not carrying in BOB a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility ?
