It's something that I just find fascinating.

I was living at the same time as Mrs Wyatt Earp.

Also was living at the same time as Helen Keller. Her father was a Confederate Army officer.

Above article - not the one I have here on pulp - tells of the passing away of the grandson of President John Tylor. Don't feel lonely; I also forgot who this President was. He was the second name in "Tippecanoe and Tylor Too".

The grandson passed away on 26 September in Franklin, Tennessee.

Don't mean to offend anyone but President Tylor sided with the Confederate States of America. President Tylor was 71 when he died in 1862.

I find this living connection with history, whether of famous personalities or just private citizens to be fascinating !
