Do you sprout grains? Sprouted grains provide awesome nutrition and are easy to grow. I sprout mung beans, alfalfa, flax and other grains. They grow and are edible very quickly, usually in 5-7 days. I usually just use mason jars and no really special equipment or anything. It's easy to store the un-sprouted seeds in a cool dark place until needed. I look at it as a viable live food source that is not only great for preparedness but as an everyday food for optimum health.
