    For faster reloading when using a smoothbore muzzle-loading gun you can use paper cartridges. These cartridges are usually carried in a Belly Box. This is the one I made for myself for militia use.

    I have that many rounds in the magazine of my rifle, not that I use them very often when hunting.
    Most of my hunts end after the first and only shot! unless I am rabbiting that is! magazine is no advantage there!

    Keith how go's that pouch in constant wet weather?

    And how do you unload a flintlock other than firing it?
