    Good afternoon Old Geezer,

Whether Bristol "youths" are anti-social or not, there are methods and techniques to have delivery trucks arrive from A to B in safety. There is, of course, a price tag for the transportation security. If HM Government is interested, recommend they contact the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The Teamsters can also teach social skills to teenagers.

The "youths" are just the manifestation of the problem. The real problem is governmental.

Isn't it ironic that we've got 2 co-located Bristols, one in Virginia and one in Tennessee somewhat near us !

Word origin on Thugs (many of you all already know this, but what the hay)

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thuggee

It says this in the above link, however I was always led to believe that they were followers of Kali, consort of Shiva (aka Siva). Shiva is the Destroyer part of the Hindu Trinity (other component gods: Brahma, the creator; Vishnu, the preserving one). Shiva's consort is a rather bad girl, this Kali.

Who else would go out on a date with this chick, except maybe Shiva:

Best damn thing I read. I've been calling for this for at least two weeks. I think I'll see about emailing, faxing or calling as many congressmen and woman to get this passed. I highly encourage all others to do the same thing. We can not allow a communist country to hold us by the balls and laugh at our peril.

If anyone here is part of a larger group that can sway support for this then get involved and lets not let the lobbyists sell out our country to China. ALL Tea Party members unite! This is the United States of America where we make our own damn medication!

On a tech forum I was a member of, I got a warning and a month long suspension for using the word "thug." The left-wing dumb ass of a mod he was said it had racial connotations or some crap.

But I got my revenge. Everyone their in their political subforum said Trump didn't have a chance in 2016. I was the only one, ONLY ONE! to state that I believe Trump would in fact win in a landslide. Boy was I ever right. LOL!

They say snowflake tears, but I'm bathing in Hillary tears.

    Good morning Old Geezer,

    Just read the 3 links.

That Elmhurst hospital/high density living reminded me less of Wuhan, Hubei, China and more so our century ago immigrants densely concentrated in Manhattan's "Little Italy", "Lower East Side" and "Chinatown". Today, the NYC municipal government employs many highly paid professionals working the public health field. Apparently something's not getting the attention of the political decision-makers.

Once got medical treatment at their nearby St. Albans Naval Hospital. It was a clean - immaculately clean - efficient ... best medical care I received when active duty in the Army. Saw some pictures of this Queens area after some riots.

Pharma production / ingredients re China and savagery in UK are domestic political issues waiting for resolution. China, immigrants, youths and other criminals are merely peripheral results.

A hospital ship leaves Norfolk, Virginia tomorrow for New York City. Where did the NYC taxes go ? I don't have the flight schedules to the Caribbean here to check.

Actually, technically the virus is Novel Covid-19, so really I don't have a problem with that aspect. Same as I don't have a problem with people saying it originated in China.

In my research, all but one flu virus has come from China, even the so-called "Spanish Flu" has recently been linked to China, one from memory arose in Vietnam. The reason these viruses come from China (in my research and opinion) is the now common overcrowding farm practices, which are a perfect breeding ground. The viruses are then spread through the populace by way of food practices and by workers. Backyard chicken farms are particularly susceptible because they don't vaccinate the chickens or practice good animal hygiene methods. Flu viruses are transmitted from birds that migrate, I think Swine flu also originally originated from birds but I'm not 100% sure on that one. The migrating birds then spread the viruses through domestic fowl, yep - chickens and to a lesser extent, ducks. That's why there are such strict laws regarding chicken farms (in Australia anyway, I presume in the US as well). Specialist departments go round chicken farms and test the workers and the chickens for flu viruses, as well as vaccinating the chickens. When ducks are migrating specialist veterinarians test them for flu viruses each year to try and get a handle on what sort of viruses are either present or likely to emerge in the next flu season.

Essentially the Novel Covid-19 virus is "the same but different" as a flu virus. Sort of like a sub family of the flu virus, with similar symptoms but more virulent and fatal.

In China ducks are raised for poultry/food. Ducks poop in farming ponds, where fish (carp) are raised for food. The carp eat the poo and people eat the carp. Chinese farmers also use night soil (human waste) to fertilize rice. Hogs on Chinese farms eat waste also. And then there are the "wet markets" where all manner of creatures are slaughtered in the same place, the street market where innumerable people are shopping. Chinese kids go poo wherever they are and their poo is not cleaned-up.

Hygiene in China is no big priority, therefore all manner of diseases are born.

Thanks Old Geezer. That article was very interesting.

My next question to you or anyone else who wants to chime in is, why are the American figures now so high?

America has overtaken both China and Italy for the number of cases, now sitting at 100,390, with 14,955 new cases and 248 new deaths. What the hell is that all about? I would have expected Australia to have higher figures due to our level of Asian (mainly Chinese) in the country. What's going on in America for the figures to be so high?

New research has played down conspiracy theories suggesting that the virus was created in a laboratory.
With COVID-19 infections around the world now exceeding 550,000, more people than ever have been seeking an answer to the question of how the virus came to arise in the first place.

While the official story has always been that it was first contracted through contact with animals at an illegal seafood market in the Chinese city of Wuhan, conspiracy theorists have long played down this explanation, instead favoring the idea that it was actually a man-made creation.

Now however, a new study involving a detailed analysis of all the available evidence has definitively debunked this particular theory and reasserted that the virus did indeed develop naturally.

The key to this lies in the fact that the virus does not share any "previously used virus backbone", meaning that there is nothing to suggest that it is was created in a lab.

Instead, it arose through a recombination of two viruses found in bats and pangolins.

"There's a lot of speculation and conspiracy theories that went to a pretty high level," study co-author Dr. Robert Garry from the Tulane University School of Medicine told ABC News.

"So we felt it was important to get a team together to examine evidence of this new coronavirus to determine what we could about the origin."

While COVID-19 was found to be 96% identical to a coronavirus found in bats, researchers were able to identify a certain variation that may explain why it has been proving so infectious.

"We know from the study of other coronaviruses that they're able to acquire this [variation] and they can then become more pathogenic," said Garry.

"This is a good explanation as to why this virus is so transmittable and has caused this pandemic."

If you want a controlled pandemic then one goes with this coronavirus -- it is not as dangerous as can be the swine flu families of viruses. One wants a long latency period so that the beast can spread before knocking people down. A coronavirus would be a military designers choice to bring about economic instability, not a wipe'em-out plague. China covered-up news of this spread and this promoted the contagion. China then locked-down their country's infected areas. Twenty million Chinese iPhone users are no longer using their iPhones. In China one is required to have an iPhone. It serves as a tracking device and an internal passport (one can receive no medical services without having their iPhone). The iPhone tracks your health. So now that lockdowns are being lifted here and there in China, if stopped at a police check-point, you can show your health status to the armed fellows. If it is code green, no problem, you have been cleared medically, you are safe, you may pass and continue to travel.

For China to have intentionally put this virus out there would require some extraordinary gambling on the part of their communist leadership. This could go very wrong for China. Industries are most assuredly going to be looking for other countries to provide that which China has been providing.

I could believe that this latest China virus is a designer virus or simply another natural virus. China is a nasty place, therefore a virus origin-hub for planet Earth's human population.

One thing is for sure, American megalopolises are only seeing the beginnings of hell. If no one panics, then we'll get hurt, yet get to the other side of this. Cities panic and point fingers, and poop their pants. Los Angeles will turn into looting central when it goes the way of New York. And New York is going to get downright creepy. Hotels/motels/convention-centers will not be able to be converted into hospitals fast enough. Cuomo sez his ventilator stockpile will not last. L.A. will run into this same brick wall very quickly. The government is not psychic -- hey, let's get everything ready for the bubonic plague, and Ebola, and everything else that could happen that is bad. Sh##, the sky is falling!!!!!!

The real pandemic that we are having is mostly a pandemic of stupidity and panic. The media stirred things up with sensational exaggerations. the sheeple believe anything that they read on the internet and panicked and started screaming for the government to do something. The government in their wisdom decided to do something even if it was wrong and stupid just so they could be obviously seen doing SOMETHING. Now we have the entire country at a standstill destroying the economy for a disease that isn't any more deadly than the many flu viruses and rhinoviruses that come by every winter. The bird flu was several orders of magnitude more deadly and we didn't freak out and go stone-cold stupid about it.

Although I'm not panicking, I am being cautious with regards to this new virus. I agree the media has ramped up the sensationalism, which they always do but we don't know the extent of this virus yet to comment decisively on a broad scale. Yes, it could be just like another flu virus but it could also be akin to the 1918 flu that wiped out something in the order of 50-70 million people globally.

The problem with new viruses is that people don't have any immunity to it. That could mean a lot of people, especially the old and infirm, die.

Not sure I'm happy with that prospect, getting somewhat old myself now!

Although I concur with your assessment that the real pandemic are stupidity & panic along with the sensationalist medias, we should not discount the fact that this virus is extremely contagious due for being airborne and potentially lethal. I'm not sure what kind of data you haven't been looking at, however I had seen few raw data (not available in public domain) and the lethally of this virus is vary regardless of age or preexisting condition. And so far the availability & punctuality of available health care seem to be the determining factor. While in the prevention side you can check the figure in Japan where the infection rate is low even when their demographic is really fat in the older people (above 60 yo) and higher infection rate and lethally in place such as Italy or France. The way I see it the contributing factor here is self discipline of the general population rather than any measures taken by their government.

If you truly confident regarding the lethally of this virus, than ask yourself truthfully, whether or not your willing to took a risk of catching this virus yourself  compare to let say common cold

The stats on this so far have not been all that bad compared to many flu viruses that we have had in the past. Almost all of the viral flu and cold (rhinovirus) based illnesses tend to have a much higher mortality rate among the old and the already sick or immunocompromised people.

As far as me personally I have no real fear of this. I am more likely to die in a car accident than this virus and yet I get in my car and go without fear. I am one of those that are most likely to be killed by this. I am both old and compromised physically. Even with that, my chances of dying from it are very small. Even in Italy where the death rate is highest the mortality rate for people over 85 that catch it is only about 15%.

I learned a long time ago that death is inevitable. NOBODY is going to get out of life alive. I would rather die than live in constant fear of dying so while I don't act stupid about this and other mortal threats I don't spend a lot of time worrying about it. I do what I can that isn't too much of a pain in my butt and then just go on...

People are packed-in in NY, NY, plus you have people passing-through who just came from every continent on Earth. (Other than penguins, what do Antarcticans look like?)

NY, NY mayor de Blasio has bragged that his city welcomes all people from all over the planet. Even bragged that covid19 hit then so hard due to their wide-open-arms policies. What an idiot. Shot himself in the foot, he did. He also shot the Democratic Party in the foot. Welcoming people into your home exposes your family to any and all communicable diseases these "guests" may have. If you invite into your town a culture prone to violence, then you put your own people at risk for violence. Common Sense 101

I just received from a very knowledgeable and professional medical source that I will not name , People with type A blood are much more prone to die from the virus than other types . The most resistant to the virus is an O type blood . A person with a high percentage of vitamin A in their system has a much better chance of surviving the virus . ------- We discussed the benefits of someone eating pokeweed . It is so high in the needed vitamins to fight the virus that it will need to be diluted in strength before consuming . If not prepared correctly the high vitamin content will poison a person . If some don't know how to properly prepare this wild plant google it or look on you tube . It is about right for picking right now in some of the warmer climate states of the U.S. . If someone can not find the information on how to prepare it just let me know .

Well, I wonder what vitamins Rum has? My husband was a firm advocate for drinking Rum in times of illness and stress for that matter. Reckoned it could cure anything. From his Army days no doubt. I'll have to go and buy myself a bottle of Captain Morgan. For medicinal purposes, you understand.

Poke-weed mixed with curly mustard was a staple in our diet when I was a kid.

Gotta pick poke-weed when it is just very, very young. When the red tint starts up the stalk, then it's too late to pick it. Poke leaves need to be boiled twice; boil it, toss the water, then boil it again. Helps to mix other greens with it, such as curly mustard. Curly mustard of course doesn't need to be boiled twice. The red roots of poke can kill you. Eating the red berries will send your guts into horrible spasms and if you don't die, you'll want to die.

They call it poke weeds, 'cause you pick it then toss it into a poke. Southern U.S. English and in Old English, poke = bag. A local university sent researchers into my neck of the woods to study Old English.

    --------------------

Do not overdose on fat-soluble vitamins D and A. Both of these vit.s protect the body from infection. These fat-soluble vit.s the body can store. Water soluble vit.s such as C and the B-vitamins, you take too much and the body simply urinates it away. People who take too much niacin in some attempt to prevent heart disease get skin flushes then urinate their money away. They pee very deep yellow-orange -- maybe that's impressive to look at in the toilet, I dont' know. What it is is waste.

Even though orange juice is too high in sugar, it's good for you; especially in the realm of vit.C. Want B vitamins, eat beans and nuts; meat has the B vitamins. B-12, eat meat. A human only needs 4 oz. of meat a day. Mix beans and rice, or mix beans and corn, and you will need less meat. Beans and rice has a lot of amino acids, however they cannot provide ALL of the needed amino acids. For complete amino acids just eat a bit of meat, or fish, or eggs -- you'll not die.

I love pecans and man are they ever good for you. There was a huge pecan tree next to my maternal grandfather's house. That property was owned by his dad (born in 1870s or 1880s) who planted the tree around 1920. And man oh man, did the squirrels ever gather up in that tree! Thus the tree was also a source of meat. Thanks Great Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fifty year old memories.

This statement confirms what my grandfather told me who was born in the 1800,s . Eat pokeweed in the spring and it will stay with you for months to keep you healthy . This statement was also re- affirmed by my medical source stating it will remain in your body for months . ----- My clan occasionally get together in the spring to get a shot of pokeweed for our systems . With this virus going on I am considering storing some up for an occasional vitamin boost throughout the year as I expect this virus to still be rampaging when 2021 arrives and likely 2022 . I took a short walk yesterday and looked for pokeweed but it seems to be still a little early for it here in the Ozarks .

Medicinal uses of poke-weed. One of the following article talks about eating the seeds after boiling. Friends, I'd NOT do that! Poke's a purgative, but too much and you'll end up in Purgatory. One article talks about how to use the roots. I wouldn't do that either. You'd have to get some training in how to use the roots -- drying them / making powder. My maternal grandmother was an herbalist, but I NEVER harvested any poke root for her and never herd her even speak of using poke root.

Stick with young plants / first leaves. You see the color purple in it, then it is getting poisonous. Again, boil it twice. Mix it with other greens. I've never eaten poke greens served alone. Mix it with kale, curly mustard, turnip greens, whatever you like. A whole lot of my kin lived to be over 90, on into 100 years. Those who moved into town or who smoked, lived much shorter lives. My particularly obese relatives only lived to be in their eighties. Note that back in those days, if a person was weak in any way, they stood the chance of dying in childhood. Where I'm from, rural graveyards are full of the very old and the very young.

It's a royal delight attending the ramp festivals. Ramps are strong, but meat being fried up with ramps creates a divine olfactory experience. Epiphanies await. My maternal grandpa and I would dig ramps during hunting trips up into the mountains. Fried squirrel using ramps in the frying pan creates a mountain ambrosia. And the gravy from this over cat-head biscuits is wondrous beyond measure.

Good advice Old Geezer perhaps I shouldn't have even brought the poke-weed thing up out of some ignorant soul misusing this powerful plant and killing themselves . Now, I'm interested to know how the Covid-19 virus is in your town. What I mean is, does your country tell you exactly where the virus is, or do they broadly tell you? I don't know how large your towns are where you're all living but would be interested to know just how much the Grovelment is telling you. In Aus, they only pinpoint Sydney and Melbourne - mainly Sydney.

This really pisses me off immensely. The reason being, I have to go to a doctor's appointment in a major town and I have no idea whatsoever if the virus has hit this particular town or not, let alone the freaking doctors' surgery.

In my opinion, it's a breach of care. Everyone should have the right to know if the virus is on their doorstep or not. As it is, my local community is working under the "he said, she said" law.

So how savvy are you regarding the virus in your communities?

    Good morning Blitz,

    In reply, my answers ... actually just opinions ... ;

No, the US does not tell the citizenry the exact locations of the COVID-19 concentrations. Anyone who was a Boy Scout / Girl Scout / equivalents, could accurately guess that the densely populated areas where there's neglect of personal health and hygiene are health-hazard areas. COVID-19 outbreaks are occurring in tandem with other diseases. Much is not reported.

(Time for a smoke break and a couple of brews. Then some ice cream...)

In the USA, New York City is presented by the national authorities as the worst/largest area of the nation's pandemic. What is absent from the pronouncements is that Queens Boro of NYC has it's population being recent immigrants or the children of recent immigrants.Origin areas were not Switzerland or Singapore. The other ~ half of this population is not known for a major focus on personal health and well-being.

In the US, it is different than Australia. The US Government and its political subdivisions is obliged to prevent mass panics.

I am savvy regarding the virus in this rural county between Hampton Roads, Virginia and Washington, D.C. This is a relatively - RELATIVELY - clean area where the rudimentary basics of health and hygiene are practiced by the locals. Much of the health care aspects, like flu shots, children's medical care appointments/treatments, is provided by the public sector (Federally-funded) to children of poor families.

It is the large population centers that are the petri dishes of disease. The corona virus is not the worse. It's just new and contagious because "herd immunity" not yet in existence.

      Thanks Pragmatist.

In Sydney the disease is centred around Eastern Sydney, which is where the more affluent hang out. Think Bondi, which has one of the highest numbers. Possibly because of the amount of overseas travel, which the poorer areas can't afford as easily.

The local town I buy groceries from has a population of around 1,000 people. There have been 3 cases cited (a "he said, she said" situation) from people who came back from a cruise, a major source of spreading the virus.

The town in which my GP is located has a population of around 3,000 and is a wealthier, "trendier" town, where it could be assumed there would be more people who are likely to go on cruises or travel overseas for holidays for example.

The town I need to access specialist medical facilities is a coastal town with a population of 75,000.

The area I live in generally is a tourist area, somewhere that people from the cities visit to lap up the National Parks, which could further ramp up the numbers.

If people don't boil poke twice, or if they don't wash/boil/rinse properly, then the most likely outcome will be that they get gut cramps. They'll get flushed-out, that's for sure.

Poke greens themselves don't make people live longer. There are numerous causes of rural folk living longer ... if the genetics are there in the first place (genetics plays the largest part). These people eat fresh food, they work hard, they get fresh air, their pace of life is excellent, and my folk got their water fresh out the side of a mountain. To build a cabin, you found where water shoots out the mountain rocks. You drive a pipe back into that source and that's where the water cistern starts. Cistern, kitchen, then cabin. There is no cleaner water. Creek water is for the livestock.

We all know that city tap water is treated to hell and back, plus it has all manner of chemicals in it. Even when my kin would move into small towns, when visiting relatives, they'd take jugs with them to gather the mountain water. We always did. Today we have a water filter for the kitchen sink.

In small towns, there are no secrets.

Here's an example of how this international virus gets into a small town. True story: Local cop goes to NY, NY. Returns without isolating himself for a while. Now over 30 Heartland Americans have been exposed to the Wuhon nasty virus.

NY, NY should be walled-off. That city used to be part of America, now it is a cancer.

Long before the Corona Virus was even heard of we have discussed and predicted squatter towns would spring up on public lands . Well the Governor of Arkansas just stated that very thing is happening . He is looking for a solution . People according to the governor coming from high infected areas . I take that to be city people running to rural areas and living in tents and campers . One of the squatter towns he mentioned is about 30 miles from me . My security against looters just ratcheted up . ---- I will be sleeping tonight outside my home in the brush with a shot gun and attack dog for a night time firefight . It will feel like old times in Nam . If any escape that is where my bloodhound will put into service . He could probably trail their vehicle all the way to their camp . His trailing ability is astonishing . This will be my plan as far as I can see as we enter teotwawki .

These squatter towns and I am certain there are two such camps within a 30 to 40 miles of me are made up of desperate people fleeing cities to get away from the Corona Virus . To compound the problem this is a rural area with only a scattering of small towns with most of these towns having only one small grocery store . This I believe is just the beginning of a much worse situation for the area . My main concern is to guard my milk goats . The people in our survival group are well armed and locked behind doors . Anyone trying to gain entry into a house will find themselves in a bind with a armed person on the inside and a ex Green Beret and attack dog on them from the outside catching them in a cross fire . I expect other rural members of this forum may soon find this problem coming to them also . I will suggest our rural members to check out public camp grounds near them , families fleeing the virus may already be there . Don't confuse the normal campers to be expected in campgrounds and virus fleers . My information came straight from the Governor . We are having an invasion of virus fleers .

Ooooh. Interesting. Thanks poltiregist! I wonder if we'll see the same sort of movement in Aus. I'll certainly keep that in mind.

This phenomenon is happening all over the place, Blitz. I may have put it in one of my posts, but I was reading an article about how people in rural Scotland were getting angry at city folk running out to rural areas, particularly campgrounds at national parks. These people coming from the contaminated cities head for rural grocery stores looking for handy foods. Wow, how special. The locals really want them gone. I do too.

update on my local squatter towns . Within the last few hours according to another prepper the Governor of Arkansas shut down the parks to camping and run off the Corona Virus fleers . Where they are tonight , I do not know . They may still be lurking around somewhere . They should have established themselves a survival retreat before S.H.T.F. . Now they are desperate displaced refugees that the locals do not want . They are panicked sheeple and have no idea what to do , that used to look down at preppers .

Just heard on the news, a town a used to live in (rural NSW) had its first death. The population of this town is around 37,000. So ... how many other cases are in this town I wonder? Naturally, no further details are given. Seriously, this may sound really callous but I think the families of the deceased should give some information as to the circumstances of their loved one's passing. I mean, seriously, it's not like they were run over by a freaking bus. As they were killed by this bloody virus, surely it would be in everyone's interest to know the circumstances? What's the likelihood of the virus spreading further in this town? Is it an isolated case, a nursing home, coming back from a cruise? What? (Or is it just me?).

Don't mind me. I'm in a foul mood.

    Good morning Blitz,

The area's public interest: yes. It is NOT advantageous for governments yo allow disclosure of disease causes. There is more political and economic aspects to this pandemic than medical aspects. Sanitary food markets, large cruise ships, large populations refusing flu vaccinations (Virginia about 50% not flu vaccinated), pilfered hospital funds allocated to PPE, mass fraud in public health care programs, (running out of cyber space) ...... must be down-played until the domestic political fights are resolved.

Governments must prevent domestic migrations because COVID-19 is contagious. Governments must keep hospital attendance limited. Concurrent with this disease requiring hospitalization for many, the societies still have automobile accidents requiring hospitalization, industrial accidents requiring hospitalization, the other ailments, ... and the entire systems are in decay.

The probability of the virus spreading ? The examples are numerous that it does spread and the implications are tremendous. Closer to you than me is a US aircraft carrier in Guam with a crew of 5,000 needing isolation because of some infections. The entire boat is a vector and it can't be used for its original mission.

It is somewhat desperate here in Lord Fairfax's former colony. The local government will allow volunteer emergency responders over 60 to help in some program as long as social distancing is practiced. Was informed by email that PPE, like N-95 masks will be available for volunteer responders. I know better.

You're not in a bad mood. You're merely properly responding to this situation.

Meanwhile, back at the audit committee..............

    Holy sh##, settle down, man!

Most of these folk are dweebs. Send up a flare and fire a cap-gun and these folk will spray wet poo down their britchie legs. They ain't Charlie, ok.

Trespassing, now that is way past annoying. I've some suggestions, but I'm not going to share, could be illegalish.

I and another prepper went to the squatter camp the Governor was trying to get dispersed to see this for ourselves . The governor said most of these people were from out of state areas . They indeed had been given the boot and were gone . Actually though we were a bit disappointed we were hoping to see some with their bug out bags returning from the mountains all covered with ticks . The ticks are awful in the area they were in . I doubt any of the crowd with the bug out bags lasted over 24 hours . All vehicles were gone so I can reasonably assume no one was left playing prepper somewhere in those forest . There is a huge difference between a real prepper and a pretend prepper . Very few people walking on this planet could survive long with just a bug out bag , not even those supposedly expert survivors they like to show on TV . Anyway we returned to our survival retreat without getting to see any tick infested preppers . Da- , I just pulled another tick off me .

Today I saw my GP. It was my first experience of "social distancing". You weren't allowed into the surgery, so I sat and waited in the car listening to the radio until the doctor came out when he was ready. No complaints here.

When he tested my blood pressure, he wiped down everything twice - once before taking it and once afterwards. My next consult will be by phone in a fortnight. Suits me down to the ground. At least I won't have to travel the hour and a half to see him. Excellent I say!

I went to my dermatologist -- via telephone and camera. Doc said that I had a small skin cancer on my forehead. I asked what was to be done. He asked if I had a soldering iron. "Yes, why?," I asked. The procedure really, really hurt.
