Keith: That is a beautiful collection if that is the right term. I know they are all working tools, and you use every one of them.

Did Daniel Boone ever stop by your place? It looks like he may have left some of his gear.

Daniel Boone was a very interesting character Morgan, I would have loved to have been able to talk to that man.

Agree 1000%. I cannot even fathom how much we could learn from him.

"D. Boon CillED A. BAr on tree in the YEAR 1760."
Carved into a tree. Boones Creek, Tennessee

Friend of mine went to Boones Creek High School. He said that the carving was spelled, "Danl Boone kilt a bar" then wrote the year. I don't remember the date.

    Gentlemen,
I am in awe of the pictured collection, and more so, due to its functionality.

Some time back, I considered what the most critical impact of a post SHTF situation might be. I came to the over-riding conclusion that the best definition for such a consideration, would be the statement “You will be jerked out of your comfort zone”

I decided to conduct an experiment, and systematically began collecting a weapons system, not ideal to my particular circumstances.

I wanted to experience using weapons for defence and hunting, which would place me well outside my comfort zone, with the intention of analysing my frustrations and physical reactions, to better understand, and to constructively modify my thinking on abnormal situations.

    The experiment is on-going.

Here are links to the weapons I chose, and pictures of my collection.

The only problem I have with your choices T, is that they are percussion, & rely on having caps for ignition.
    Regards, Keith.
