    definitely OTT, one persons opinion, not government policy.
    based on computer modelling.
    I think everybody need to calm down, stop buying toilet rolls and relax.

    It should be added, computer model that doesn't (unable to) take into account all the real-world variables and the algorithm were based upon singular view of minuscule amount of people

    maybe Italy has about the same population as the UK but they have 10,000 cases and 631 deaths, the UK has 319 and 6 and I cant see it increasing to that extent within a 2 week period.

    One of the key aspects of the Lombardy region in Italy is that it includes the southern Alpine ski resorts (Andalo etc) that get many thousands of visitors every year, at this time, for the skiing. Amongst those visitors will have been many Chinese people (it is very popular there with Chinese tourists). I am wondering if this is a legacy of that tourism form when the virus started to take hold but was not openly acknowledged?
