I went into the Army: 3rd Cavalry, Fort Knox. Back then I was called a LRRP opportunity shooter. I actually changed into a military group serving under the Army, so technically I'm not a Vet and will have no Vet privileges.

To all the Vets, I especially respect and thank you for your service. I do hope that the VA is treating you as they should.

I was part of a military cult called the U.S. Army Airborne. To be more precise I was formerly of the 173D Airborne Brigade and 12th Special Forces Group (Reserves). I did 19 months in combat with the 173D in Viet Nam in a variety of roles. I was a 11Charlie, 11Foxtrot and 11Bravo at the end of my tour. For my last 7 months I carried and was trained as a sniper with a XM-21 sniper rifle. I loved that rifle like no other rifle I have EVER owned or carried before or since. If that rifle had been a girl I would have married it.
