Link provides some light-reading views on what some Preppers are shopping for.

I recall it was the - atomic - worries of the 1950s. "Nuclear" was a newer term.

Without security here, in 3 days my air would be pilfered.

"Vacation" is just the current, corrupted version of the historical requirement to rest one's body one day a week as mentioned in famous literature of the Western world known as "The Revelation at Sinai".

Here in the United States people are grabbing up guns , ammunition and rural land . This has taken on a more serious nature than the great toliet paper grab of about a year ago . These are basically new believers entering the prepper world as us preppers that have been in that arena for quite a while already are prepped . What most people miss is for indefinite sustainability they will need not only rural land but survival critters such as milk cows or goats , chickens and such . It is possible to survive without a steady incoming food supply from a critter but it will be a lot more difficult , but that is just my personal opinion . --- Just an amusing note - Even a undercover government agent that followed me around and pretended to be my friend some years ago , told me he would like to have him a jersey milk cow in case S.H.T.F. .
