Much of these warnings on the dangers are just out of place. How does one learn to properly place a mask on when caring for someone in bed with flu like symptoms ?

If mask wearing among the general public was a public health matter, the masks would not be sold in all stores...perhaps only in medical supply places.

MY personal concern is the politico-social aspects. There have been numerous reports of "trouble-makers" taunting mask-wearers as eg:

1- not staying home when sick
2- not going out to public places
3 - all the rest of the scenarios - had also read of "Asians" being singled out for harassment.

This is what I see as a danger well beyond proper fitting masks.

 

I am looking at buying P100 for outdoor facemask not the N95's for traditional community interaction

First, welcome to the Forum.

Without more specifics as to "outdoor" and "traditional community involvement" it's difficult to provide quality responses.

Note that both the N95 and P100 are NOT DME ...... Durable Medical Equipment. They are expendables.

Note also that the P100 is much more expensive than the N95. For single day use - at most - P100s can be costly unless in good financial shape.

The P series has a different function than the N series. It depends on the purpose of wearing the mask.
