    Good morning all,

The engineers discuss natural ... and some non-natural aspects ... of disasters.

I found it to be a good article.

Appreciated reading the term "social factors".

Am guessing United Nations University has transfer programs with Patrice Lumumba University, Karl Marx University and New University (new name for America's "Frankfurt School" in Greenwich Village, NYC).

Excellent list by restoration master ...

Re 2; This is the weak link in American society. Public health went the way of public safety. Margaret Mitchell's book title "Gone With The Wind" is applicable to public health here.

Re 4; The Fukishima tsunami also aggravated by TEPCO - Tokyo Electric Power Company - fraud.

The British English "torch" word used in article. It's not accurate ..... but neither is "flash light". A steady beam of light doesn't flash. After we end disasters, we can work on adopting Esperanto if not obliged to converse in Chinese.

    ...
