I am Tsavo, and I survive on the Southern tip of Africa.
It is my hope to share and glean, new insights into the lost art of survival.

My opinions, may at times, seem disconcerting, however the very existence of forums such as this one, bear witness to the fact, that we live in disconcerting times.

I am open to constructive criticism, however, conversely, I am averse to beligerance, and will defend myself and others accordingly.

I am well read, and will never speculate on subjects that I have not researched.
I have a deep sense of honour and integrity, and as such, you may take me at my word.

My introduction may lead you to consider me bombastic. I assure you that this is not the case.
In this age of cold cyber impersonality, this is merely my way of introducing myself as an individual, and not a template of one.

Thank you IBME, for your welcome. I have long nurtured an unrequited love affair with the Land of the midnight sun. At one point in my life, I gave serious consideration to spending a year in the wild, but alas, the dream did not materialize...

 

I really, really like that Jose Arguelles quote. The 2012 cataclysm didn't happen, but the time frame sure is spot on. Think about it, almost ALL world religions speak of an apocalypse and a world-rebuilding coming thereafter. In Christianity there is the teaching of the time of the Son, then a violent cleansing, then a time of the Father. "And they shall be known by a new name."

Makes sense. Lord knows that geophysical catastrophes come in centuries-long cycles. It's my belief that there could actually have been an Atlantis. The Great Flood could have been an actual event that wiped-out the better part of some ancient empire. Totally believable. Think about what's gonna happen when the Pacific Ring of Fire near TOTALLY let's go -- the destruction cannot be imagined.

And as to "bombastic", well my ego isn't exactly tiny, nor are the egos found here on this site -- no microscope required. All of us are building an ark of some sort.

Welcome! You are in good company here. Many have found our discussions to be disconcerting or over-the-top because they cannot fathom the idea of seriously hard times coming down the road...or even the fact that there are millions around the world who ARE dealing with mind-numbing hard times.

Some of us have been preparing for a long time, and are now in the "advanced" stages, lol.

It appears we share similar geophysical opinions.

When I started viewing the planet, rather than its current life forms as the datum for the extrapolation of what was and what might be, I was rewarded with startlingly fresh vistas.
The downside was that "polite company" relegated me, oficially, to "The Lunatic Fringe"....aah well, the cross of the enlightened...

Indeed, I am a South African citizen, and as a farmer in a rural area, feel qualified to answer your question.

The term "White Genocide" has gained some momentum in the international media, however, its stringent definition has nullified its ability to convey current circumstances, which would be better labelled "Ethnic cleansing"

The international non profit organization "Genocide Watch", places South Africa at level 6/10 (Polarization), however, elaborates by saying that the genocide time-line is not sequentially dependent. http://www.genocidewatch.com/

The emergence, and popularity of the third largest parliamentary seat holder, the "Economic Freedom Fighters" (EFF) which presents itself as a “radical, leftist, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist movement.” has escalated tensions dramatically.

Party members at their frequent political rallies routinely chant "dubul' ibhunu", which translate as “shoot the boer [white farmer]”. Their leader, Julius Malema, has stated publically, “We are not calling for the slaughter of white people‚ at least for now".

This brings me to the subject of the so-called "Farm Murders", some three thousand. This figure excludes fifteen thousand "Farm Attacks".

The State denies these figures, dismissing them as a "Right wing conspiracy". When viewing state population statistics, it is clear that we are outnumbered 50 to 1....I wonder what it is that we are conspiring to do?

I am willing to answer any specific questions you might have, but I fear, at this point, that I may be boring you.

 

My prayers go out to you guys, but my advice would be to get out while the getting is good.

 

Hey Grizzlyette, and thank you for your warm welcome. I think you hit the nail on the head regarding those who cannot see further than the end of their soap opera. I would be interested to know what it is that you are preparing for. If you have carried it to an advanced stage, it must be quite calamitous!

Howdy and greetings from the Republic of Texas. Bombastic is good. Stupidity is bad. You learn more from people that you disagree with than from those that you agree with so you should treat them with respect for what they help you learn...even though they are obviously WRONG. LOL...

 

You'll not bore me. I've been attempting to keep up with the overt racial genocide against whites going on in South Africa. Our main-stream media is actively censoring anything negative concerning the ANC mass-murdering machine. You'll have to provide better numbers, however I know that over 7,000 white farmers have been murdered -- raped and tortured to death. The ANC has as many of its own people locked in prison as did the apartheid regime. People attempting to get into S.Africa from other African countries are being slaughtered also. If I make a comment about what is going on, the news agency immediately deletes it.

There is a great need for the international community to aid whites without resources to escape from South Africa! Such is not allowed to be said. In Britain, such talk might just get you in trouble with the socialist regime of that nation. I have talked face-to-face with white people from S.Africa who had to get out, who still have family back there, and who were attempting to run businesses there. My heart goes out to you. Our finances are in the crapper right now (medical bills and such) or I'd be making donations to the VERY few places that provide aid.

Question: Where can donations be sent to help white S.African refugees? We need to know which agencies are valid.

Things are heating up here in America, else I'd recommend my country as a place to where one could flee. Outside the cities of Canada are places uncontaminated by aggressive/ignorant people. Some places here in America are such, but like I said America is going to see some darker than dark years ahead.

I now a few ex S Africans of Indian origin over here and they are good blokes.

 

I just read a Wikipedia article that was pure propaganda. The article discredited any source of information that would support anything other than the politically correct (Leftist lies) story line. The article went on to state that the murder rate of white farmers was the same as any other group of people in S.Africa -- this even though we know that over 7,000 white farmers have been murdered.

The lies of the media are not playing so well in the cities of Europe and Britain where there are entire areas of cities where even the police and emergency crews do not enter without armed escort. We here in America are very familiar with this phenomenon. Because of my line of work, I constantly interact with those whose careers are in emergency services -- dear Lord, the accounts of inner city violence they relate!

In our own day, raw savagery is replacing civilized behavior. To speak of this can get you into no small amount of trouble with the enablers of chaos. On university campuses, the suppression of truth is the order of the day.

 

Tsavo: Welcome from Missouri. Good to have you with us. I have been following South Africa for about he past year. Started with your water shortage and grew into following the political issues, and reading some history. I have watched with great interest, and wish we could do more to help.

You are the closest to a societal collapse of all of us. Our prayers are with you. Please keep us posted on the progress. We will never get the true story from any media outlet. From your opening introductory post I felt that you were a kindred spirit. I look forward to your posts.

 

I am not the only one here who has gone through a number of serious SHTF events. I and others have also been at the business of survival for a number of years, decades even. Eventually, you reach a point where you have to go big or go home.

I am liable to haul off and start a whole 'nother thread about the topic of advanced survival! When I do, I will post a link to that thread in here, so you don't miss it.
